MASTUL Foundation participated in the 11th Zakat Fair, 2023 organized by CZM

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam that is mandatory for adults who reach the Nisab threshold. And to make awareness regarding it Central for Zakat Management (CZM) celebrated the 11th Zakati Fair, 2023. This two-day program took place at Aloki community centre on Gulshan link road with the theme of “Making a difference with Zakat”.
MASTUL Foundation was able to secure a stall for itself at the fair. The dedicated workers of MASTUL informed potential donors about its philanthropic activities. Moreover, they raised awareness of how people in rural areas are fighting against poverty.
Yes! It was a huge success as MASTUL Foundation engaged with a huge number of influential people. Because they are eager to connect with MASTUL as a collaborator for various charitable causes. Overall the perspective was to encourage individuals to pay their Zakat organizationally. It also addressed various Zakat-related questions.
Wahiduddin Mahmud a renowned economist and the chairman of the economic research Group noted at the seminar’s opening session that the zakat might be a highly feasible source for funding social safety-net programs for the needy and the impoverished which needs to be addressed while establishing policies.
The fair features stalls from a variety of Zakat-based organizations, Islamic financial institutions, and book publishers.
