On the sacred day of Eid-ul-Adha, MASTUL Foundation successfully carried out the Qurbani sacrifice in honor of the people of Gaza, fulfilling its promise to bring love, support, and the spirit of Eid to those facing unimaginable hardships.
As the sun rose on Eid day, the sacrificial rites were performed with devotion — camels, dumba (fat-tailed sheep), and sheep were sacrificed according to Islamic tradition. This act of faith and solidarity was not just symbolic; it was a lifeline for thousands of Gazans enduring war, loss, and displacement.
Immediately after the Qurbani, the meat was carefully processed, packed, and distributed across refugee camps and communities inside Gaza, reaching families who have long been deprived of such blessings. For many, it was the first time in months — even years — that they had the chance to share a proper meal with their loved ones.
“Eid is a time of unity, sacrifice, and compassion. Today, our sacrifice reached the hearts of thousands who needed it the most,” said a MASTUL Foundation spokesperson. “This Qurbani was not just meat — it was a message of love from one part of the Muslim Ummah to another.”
Despite the ongoing crisis in the region, MASTUL’s volunteers and partners worked tirelessly to ensure that the Qurbani was conducted with dignity and that no one was left behind in the joy of Eid.
In the face of devastation, this initiative served as a reminder that humanity, faith, and compassion still prevail — and that the people of Gaza are not alone.
