This Eid-ul-Adha, the atmosphere at MASTUL Mehmankhana was filled with joy, laughter, and the true essence of Eid, as Qurbani cows and goats were brought especially for the children of the MASTUL Orphanage and the residents of the MASTUL Old Home.
In a heartwarming scene, the children gathered around the animals with wide smiles and sparkling eyes. Their excitement was contagious as they played, petted, and bonded with the animals before the Qurbani. For many of these children, this was not just a religious tradition — it was a moment of pure joy, love, and belonging.
“The happiness in their faces says it all,” said a caretaker at the orphanage. “For our children, this Qurbani is more than just a meal — it’s a celebration of life, care, and the feeling that they are not forgotten.”
Alongside them, the elderly residents of the MASTUL Old Home were also included in the Eid celebrations. They watched with gentle smiles as the children played, reminiscing about their own childhood Eids and feeling the warmth of community and compassion.
The Qurbani was carried out with care and devotion, and the meat was shared among the children, the elderly, and staff — ensuring everyone enjoyed a hearty meal together. The festive spirit was alive in every corner of MASTUL Mehmankhana.
This special initiative reflects MASTUL Foundation’s unwavering commitment to honoring and uplifting the lives of the most vulnerable. By bringing smiles to the faces of orphaned children and the elderly, MASTUL once again proved that the true meaning of Eid lies in sharing, caring, and standing beside one another with love.
