This Eid-ul-Adha, while much of the world prepares to celebrate with joy and abundance, thousands in war-torn Gaza continue to struggle for basic survival. In a powerful act of solidarity and compassion, MASTUL Foundation has stepped forward with a heartfelt initiative to share the spirit of Eid with the people of Gaza by performing Qurbani (sacrifice) and distributing meat among both refugees and residents inside Gaza.
Believing that Qurbani meat is the right of every Muslim, MASTUL Foundation has arranged the sacrifice of camels, dumba (fat-tailed sheep), and other livestock as part of their Eid program for Palestine. These sacrificial animals were carefully selected and prepared in accordance with Islamic principles, ensuring dignity, care, and love reach every corner where suffering persists.
In a region where daily life is clouded by fear, hunger, and displacement, MASTUL’s efforts aim to do more than just feed — they aim to restore hope and a sense of belonging during a time meant for celebration.
“This Eid, while the people of Gaza are not asking for new clothes or gifts, they are simply hoping to survive another day. We believe it is our duty to stand with them, and through this Qurbani initiative, we are striving to ensure they feel remembered, respected, and loved,” said a representative from MASTUL Foundation.
The Qurbani meat will be distributed to families in refugee camps, war-affected zones, and vulnerable households inside Gaza, helping them experience a part of Eid’s joy despite the hardships.
Through initiatives like this, MASTUL Foundation continues to uphold the values of empathy, unity, and humanitarian responsibility — ensuring that even in the darkest times, the light of Eid reaches every heart.
