The name Kazi Reaz Rahman has become synonymous with humanity and compassion. In 2012, he founded MASTUL Foundation, beginning with a small initiative to support underprivileged street children in Dhaka. Providing food, education, and safe shelter for children sleeping on the sidewalks was the organization’s first mission. From that humble beginning, MASTUL Foundation has now grown across Bangladesh working tirelessly for underprivileged children, the elderly, laborers, and disaster-affected communities.

Over the years, MASTUL has expanded its humanitarian activities beyond the borders of Bangladesh. In 2023, when a devastating earthquake struck Turkey, MASTUL Foundation sent emergency relief to the victims. Later, in 2024, as the war escalated in Gaza, the organization immediately launched direct humanitarian operations for the war-torn families of Palestine. Multiple trucks carrying food, clean water, and medical supplies were delivered inside Gaza, saving countless lives.
Today, as the humanitarian crisis deepens in Gaza, MASTUL Foundation’s efforts remain active and consistent. Volunteers are distributing food packs containing rice, flour, oil, tuna fish, spices, and other essentials—each pack ensuring survival for an entire family for several days. Alongside food relief, Mastul has undertaken medical support initiatives for the injured, as well as special aid programs for widows, orphans, and vulnerable children. Bangladeshi students stranded in Gaza are also receiving assistance under this initiative.
Speaking directly from the field, MASTUL Foundation’s Founder and Executive Director Kazi Reaz Rahman said:
“The call of humanity is our greatest strength. We began with street children, and today we stand beside people beyond our country’s borders. Every family in Gaza is living in fear of death. We are trying to deliver at least a meal, a bottle of water, or a pack of medicine to their hands. Beyond food, we are also focused on treatment for the injured and long-term support for widows and orphans. As long as possible, our efforts will continue.”
Looking ahead, MASTUL Foundation has set its vision to expand its humanitarian presence globally. Beyond emergency relief, the organization plans to initiate rehabilitation, education, and long-term development programs for children affected by war and disasters. According to Kazi Riaz Rahman, the driving force behind Mastul’s journey has always been the generosity of donors and well-wishers. “Their support, love, and prayers are what keep us standing strong for the people of Gaza and for those in need in Bangladesh. Together, we can build hope where there is despair,” he added.
