MASTUL Foundation received the JOY Bangla Youth Award 2020. This prestigious award is aimed at celebrating the youth and their ability to change the world around them. The winning name, MASTUL Foundation was announced by Sajeeb Wazed, ICT Advisor of the honorary Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina.
Bangla Joy Youth Award has been awarding youth-driven changemakers since 2014. Young Bangla is a research wing of CRI. It is in place to make sure that the passion, spirit, and effort of the youth continue to make Bangladesh what it can truly be.
The volunteers of MASTUL have been risking their lives to ensure that corona patients are transported to medical centers so that they can be treated early. they bathed and buried the contaminated bodies of corona patients even though the community was against them as a result of fear and lack of understanding.
No wonder, MASTUL has been awarded the JOY Bangla Youth Award. The award is not the summary or conclusion of brave-hearted humanitarian work but rather, it is the beginning of many years of tireless volunteering and change-making for many years to come.
