National Mourning Day Initiative: Handwashing and Safe Food Distribution Awareness at MASTUL School

On the occasion of National Mourning Day, Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) organized a distinctive awareness event at MASTUL School regarding health, hygiene, and handwashing.  Another perspective of that event is to emphasize the importance of a balanced diet. 

Md. Abdul Kayowm Sarker, Chairman of BFSA, speaking as the chief guest. Honourable Chairman stated,” Safe food is essential to build a smart Bangladesh.” He shared a practical example of Bangladeshi Footballers.  “Typically, our players cannot play the entire 90 minutes, unlike the footballers from Europe. The key culprit is lack of nutrition.”

Apart from this he also emphasizes food safety before consuming. 

His key message to the students of MASTUL is to practise proper hygiene and maintain a balanced diet from their childhood. Mr Chairman strongly believes that today’s kids are the future leaders. They will be the pioneer to establish Smart Bangladesh. 

MASTUL Founder and Executive Director Mr Kazi Reaz Rahman also shared his valuable speech towards the audience. Also, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the departed soul of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Moreover, he encouraged the students to embrace Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s dream in all expects. 

It is worth mentioning the officials of BFSA practically show the right way to wash hands. They also discussed the importance of proper hygiene. Later all the students enjoyed a decent meal and prayed for the departed soul of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
