Meet Shafika, a successful seamstress and an inspiring woman in her community. But once Shafika’s condition was very vulnerable. She and her day-labour husband could not bear their family cost and fell into debt. 

Even this couple was unable to provide proper nutrition. 

At that crucial time, through a local representative, she got sewing from the MASTUL Foundation under the “MASTUL Zakat Empowerment Program” and started sewing clothes to sell on local markets. Gradually she overcame her economic crisis and uplifted her life along with her family. 

Like Shafika, the MASTUL Foundation wants to empower more women by sewing machines and providing other logistic support. This upcoming year, MASTUL has a target to empower at least 500 women in different areas who are suffering from poverty. To meet this noble requirement, we need your kind assistance.
